Mark Urdahl - Executive Director
Mark just celebrated his fifteenth anniversary with the Port. He came from the Port of Ridgefield, Washington where he had served as the Manager for three years. His background is public administration with nine years of employment service to the City of Portland through the Bureau of General Services. Urdahl graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh in 1974, has done extensive graduate work in Public Administration at Portland State University. He is a 2005 graduate of the Agriculture Forestry Program and was recently appointed by the Governor to CERB (Community Economic Revitalization Board). Mark and his wife, Sara, live in Wenatchee. He has three grown sons.

Ron Johnston-Rodriguez - Director Economic Development
Ron began working part-time at the Port in 2003. For the past eleven years he has owned and operated a consulting firm assisting businesses, community organizations, and government agencies in strategic planning, project development, research and analysis, and financing. Previously, he served as Director of economic development councils for Chelan, Douglas and Okanogan Counties; taught business classes; and has owned and operated several small enterprises. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Rural Community Development. |

Dayle Rushing - Director Property and Risk Management
Dayle and her family are central Washington natives. After college, she worked in the Eastmont and Royal City school systems until joining the Port in 1988. Dayle has participated on a number of community boards and focus committees in our valley and most currently serves on the Habitat for Humanity Store (retail outlet) Board in Wenatchee. She obtained her commercial real estate license in 1995 and manages the Port property and facilities as well as serving as risk manager for the Port.

Laura Jaecks - Director Confluence Technology Center
Laura served as Executive Director of Camp Fire USA/North Central Washington Council from 1996 to 2003 and was responsible for council operations Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Okanogan and half of Adams counties. Her previous career experiences include co-owner and general business manager of The Training Station (currently Gold’s Gym), and general partner in Cascade Investments. Laura has a Masters of Education in Educational Technology, a BS in Accounting from Central Washington University, and an Associates of Arts Degree from Wenatchee Valley College.

Mike Armstrong - External Affairs Director
Mike was recently hired as the External Affairs Director for the Port. He is a fourth-generation Wenatchee Valley resident and has served on a variety of community committees and civic boards including, but not limited to, the Wenatchee School Board, Music Theatre of Wenatchee, Supporters of the Center Board of Directors, Wenatchee Apollo Club, Little League coach, and the Children’s Discovery Museum. The 2009 legislative session will mark Mike’s fifth term in the Washington State Legislature. He and his wife, Mary, have a son and two daughters. His hobbies include playing Santa, woodworking, computers, fishing, education, acting, home brewing, travel, camping and backpacking.

Pat Moore - Manager Pangborn Memorial Airport
Pat Moore was hired at Pangborn Airport in January, 1988, was appointed as Assistant Manager in 1994, earned an Accredited Airport Executive degree in 1999 from AAAE (American Assn of Airport Executives) and was selected Pangborn Airport Manager in January, 2004. Moore is the treasurer of the Washington Airport Management Association. She has held a pilot’s license since 1985, and has earned an instrument and commercial rating. Moore owns a 1966 Citabria aircraft and spends the summer months flying to statewide fly-in events and fly-in campouts. Moore has two grown sons.
